Approved by the leading group of national activities clean up and regulation for exhibition forum, the 6th China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Expo, organized by the Ministry of Commerce and the People’s Government of Guizhou Province, was jointly organized by WABA (World Alcohol Beverage Alliance), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, General Administration of Customs, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, etc. As the support unit of the Expo, WABA invited more than 30 foreign dignitaries, presidents of associations, experts, scholars and 800 domestic and foreign merchants to attend the Expo and WABA 2016 Annual Meeting.
The Expo demonstrated its global reach, which was integrated into the culture of Guizhou symbolizing togetherness and cooperation. Not only is the Expo an international alcohol exhibition, it has become an important platform for stable investment into the Province.Since its establishment, WABA has boosted the formation of its international platform, and has provided expansion room for the wine industry experts and scholars.
Dr. Ante Simonić, the President of WABA concluded in the wrap-up speech at the annual meeting: “WABA, based in China, will be a win-win for the global alcoholic beverage industry. In the future our task is to bring WABA to prominence, andmake WABA more recognized in the international arena.
